"I left the Interstate because of icy roads with dusk nearing. My room was spotless, heat was easy to regulate, towels were especially fluffy, breakfast was a total convenience, and owners were present and congenial. My one concern is a notice needed posting at the door handle. I had pushed in the "lock button" as I would at home...which locked me out and made my key inoperative. "

"Comfy bed, nice towels, cozy, clean and a great price. Big giant muffins for breakfast, can't beat it!"

Super clean and comfortable rooms.

"The best time off on the road I've had in 30 years of traveling. Super clean and comfortable rooms. Even have smoking rooms. Very affordable, but the best part was the conversation with the owner. Rick and I sat over coffee and Pepsi and solved world problems. Great time and a new friend, will always stay here when I pass through, or at least have a cup of coffee and say hello."

"We had the greatest experience here a couple months ago. We were driving home from OR to MN late one night with a full van (three adults, two small children, and a puppy) when our transmission went out just off of the interstate. We called The Broken Spur Motel and they came and picked us all up in two separate trips. The owners were so helpful and compassionate towards our situation. Our van was not able to be fixed for several days, so we had to rent a car for the remainder of the trip. They brought us to the rental hub in another town about 30 miles away and stayed with us until we were on our way. With hesitation and resistance she finally accepted our offer of money for her time and care for all of us that she so graciously went far and beyond out of her way or duty. It was so nice to be reminded that there good people left in this world. I am embarrassed to say that I don't even remember their names, but they will be forever remembered for their hospitality! Thank you Broken Spur for keeping my family and children cared for."
